Alot to go over in the racing world so lets get everything else out of the way 1st.
GOLF (yes Golf.)
KJ Choi wins Tigers tournment. (does anyone realize it was actually the AT&T tourney?) Solid putting and good greens play helped him win after Stuart Appleby played the last round like a soldier. (left, right, left, right) This is Choi's 2nd win in 6 weeks. (5 weeks ago he won the Arnold Palmer classic.) Woods finished a respectiable T6 after earlie troubles with the putter put him in a huge hole.
Tour De Steroids
My dealers not back yet, i'm going threw withdrawl. (I could snap any minute.) Robbie McEwen, who was Lances running mate for years, not breaks out on him own and wins the 1st stage. I'm assuning the frence immediatially sent his blood to the nearest lab for testing. Do we hate the french again? Or did we always hate them, then tollerated them for awhile, and now hate them again?
Weird sports of the weekend
#1 - Running of the wives (Finland) Who but the Fins could come up with this? Strap your wife on your shoulders and run her threw and obstical cource. (I watched some highlite on youtube and this is off-the-wall funny)
#2 - Running of the bulls (spain) Score is now Bulls 9 - people 0. 9 people wre injured during yesterdays run. Only 9? The Bulls need to pick-up the pace a little.
NBA -
Summer league is in full swing (althought i do not give a crap) Durant and Oden are throwing up donuts.
MLB -
1st yalf is over. Ended on a great not with Curtis Grandersons fantastic spiderman-scale-the-wall-take-away-a-homer catch yesterday.
A-rob hit his 30th of the season and 494th of carear yesterday. (He passed Lou Gherig and Fred-"the crime dog"- Mcgriff also).
Here are my 1st half awards.
MVP - (this kills me) A-Rod.
Cy Young - Chris Young (padre's) He'd be 12 and 1 if he had gotten a little more offence.
Biggest suprise (everyone saw coming) Prince Fielder.
Biggest suprise (no-one saw coming) Magglio Ordonez
Suprise team (MY) Marniers. (Only 1 game back of the Angles now.)
Biggest DUD - The White Sox.
MOTOR SPORTS
Watkins Glenn. Scott Dixon may have won but all the talk was Kanaan and Hornish jr. after the race. Ya, they got into it a little but yah, rubbins racing! I love it when they finish the race and get out of the car and want ot fight someone, WITH THERE HELMET ON! That's like two goalie's fighting in hockey. Sure, there could be pleanty of action, but no blood, nothing gets broken. (except a fist if someone actually throw a punch.)
almost finally -
Daytona.
#1 - Congrats to Jamie McMurray. This should solidify his comeback driver of the year award (i do not care what happens in the 2nd half.) #2 - Congrats to Jeff Gordon. (Why? Though you would never ask...) A) for helping Jamie win. He did not have to push him past Kyle(his teammate) but he stayed in line and did what he was supposto to do. B) Telling the world (or at least everyone watching on tv) he was happy Jamie won. I have not read one word where JG said one thing positive or negitive about Kyle which means he C) kept his mouth shut like he was suppose to. (more on this below.)
#2 - Congrats to Carl Edwards. His push was the one who let Jamie win. He may still look like a dork, but i kinda like Carl now.
And finally,
I could not wait to go off on Kyle Busch.
O.k. I HATE KYLE BUSCH. I hate him in the same way some people hate Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon. If he was lying on the side of the road and bleeding from his eyes and all i had to do is say "hi" to him to save his life, I would cut out my tounge 1st, HATE HIM. I hate watching his interviews, get mad at the tv when i see him in a commercial, refuse to eat frosted flakes anymore, and NEVER, EVER, go to CarQuest, PERIOD.
NOW, that being said, one of the reason i despise/hate/loath him so much is he always comes off like the youngest child who did not get his way.
Jeff gordon didn't push me, wahhhhh!!!!
I lost my ride to Junior, wahhhh!!!
Tony hit me , Wahhh!!!
Look, Kyle asked out of his contract about 4 weeks ago before the hired JR. He's probley going to Penske Racing with his brother and Ryan (Newman). What did he expect. To get treated like gold and handles with kid gloves until he's out? F-that. This is racing. Teams race as individuals. I'm sure there is a limit as to how much Roush and Hendrick want there drivers to push this, but face the fact, Do what you have to do to win the race, period. Now he's pissed Jeff did not help him. Look i saw parts of the race and Jamie was clearly the supperior car. What was Jeff to do? Get behind the slower car? My judgement may be a little clouded because of the fact i do not like (hate) him, but he's wrong. If he was smart (and he's not. He's a moron who can not even get a HOT looking girlfriend) he would shut his trap and just get into the car and race with what he's given. Next year when he's racing for Penske or Ginn he can bitch all he wants. But for now, SHUT - THE - F&@$- UP. No one (especially me) wants to hear your winny little ass talking about, well, anything.
Almost forgot.
HR Derby tonight at 9pm on ESPN. Line up is.
Ryan Howard (phillies)
Prince Fielder (brewers)
Albert Pujols (cardnials)
Alex Rois (blue jays)
Justin Morneau (twins)
Maggloi Ordonez (Tigers)
favorite - Ryan Howard
My pick - The Prince
Sleeper pick - Magg's
See ya tomorrow.

T.G.I.F.
Warning: NASCAR POST
I know i have not posted about NASCAR in a while but here the thing. I still love watching and i love the sport. But ever since i was thrown from contension in the pool i am in i have been angry watching it on T.V. I have an outside chance at some money if at the start of the race Gordon takes out smoke, JJ, Budwiser and the Robot in the 1st lap, Mark Martin forgets he was supposto race this week and Reed Sorensen misses the race because State farm canceled his insurance. Basically i have not a chance in hell, but doesn't mean i can not root for "the big one" to happen in the 1st lap?
Besides after the big announcement that Jr. was going to Hendrick nothing exciting has happened. The only driver worth watching is Montoya to see who he will take out next. How boring has it gotten?
JJ and Jeff Gordon are still winning (yawn)
Delana Harvick has not once been mentioned in the power ranking for not taking off her hat.
Matt Kenseth robot is still finishing in the top 10.
The gatorade commercial still make me cringe.....
Clint Boyer still looks like he's pissed of at everyone.
Jr is still the most popular driver. (and had a hell of a run the last 6 races)
I have not broken one t.v. this year watching the races.
Smoke and Kyle have not had words with each other in over a month.
The most i can hope for this week is that Fed-X capolitized on Denny's win last week with a new commercial. We need a center of the track beef. Tony's gotta be angry at someone right? Someone tell him that Kyle Busch peed on him lunch or something. Can we get Casey Mears and Juam Pablo to duke it out in the octigon with Joe Rogan announcing? Right off turn #2 would be good.
Michael Vick's house raided, again.
Question, what are they hoping to find this time they did not the 1st? They should up this morning with 20 cars, 2 u-haul trucks. I'm suprised the did not call in the dogs. (Bad Joke. Bad, Bad Joke). Now, if i'm Vick, and if there was anything (I mean ANYTHING) left in that house that would incriminate me i would have had it out of there by now. I would have hired one of those mission impossible guys to go threw the house and get ride of all my stuff. Tracking.......
In other "dumb ass football players police blotter news"
Tank Johnson will not be charged with DUI in Arizona. (suprise! His BAC was only .071) But it is know that the bears will release him as soon as his suspension is done.
RIP to Avery Atkins.
Another tragic waste to a teriffic collage player. A projected starting cornerback for the gators in 2007 until domestic voilence charges were filed agenst him in last 2006. He was again arrested on monday for posession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a conceled weapon.
NHL
Jeremy Roenick retires from Arizona. He remonds me of hockeys version of Curt Schilling. Good player, big mouth and will probley wind up in a broadcast booth when his playing days are done.
We'll see...........
Hasek resignes with the Wings. Good move he's a solid goalie when he is propetly motivated. (thanslation he's gonna suck this year because he got a 2 year contract.)
Cycling....
Does anyone know the Tour de Steroids is starting? I only do because my dealer told me he's gonna be out of town for a week or so.
NBA
Kobe apoligizes to Kupchak. This is why he will never, EVER, win another championship unless someone else carries his ass to one. The next time you see Kupchak and Kobe's wife they will each be carring one of his balls each. Kupchap beacuse of the amount of money he's paying him there was no way he could ever let Kobe get away with what he did and not apologize. He wife because no way in HELL she's leaving LA. She can put up with him cheating, but NO WAY she's moving.
And my favorite subject MLB
Last night CC Sabathis vs. Verlander was supposto be a pitchers dual. Verlander was dealing, CC was ducking. CC would have been better off pitching underhand the was Detroit was teeing of last night. And to watch Verlander throw his breaking ball was out of this world. I think he broke about 4 batters knee;s yesterday from buckeling so hard. By the way how big is CC? 280? 300? but he's still the best hitting pitcher in baseball next to Bronson Arroyo who....
helped himself to a win by out homering Barry Bonds. I now truley beleive that last vs last place are the best games in baseball. The Giants Reds game last night was trutl entertaining.
Okajima (red sox) and Young (padres) round out the all stars. I thing both deserve it, although you could aslo say that about a ton of other players (sheffield, Roland, Renteria, Chipper, Andrew, Milkie, Caberia, ect, ect). If they want ot get everyone in the game who deserves it set up a 75 man roster for each team. You play till you hit, then your done. Pitchers get one inning, PERIOD. And you have 20 players from each league who "almost made it" sitting in the stands right behind the dougout in case the game goes to extra innings. You start you at bat 2 and 1. If you walk, your our of the game. After all this is still a game, right?
It happens to be my favorite game but there are soo many imperfections (like my spelling) that sometimes it ruins the game. Remember last year when Kenny Rogers was mowing down the yankees? That was a perfect game (if you were a Tigers fan). Why do we ruin the game with things like "pitch counts". In Kenny's game i do not care if he was 90 years old and had thrown 400 pitches. If he still had gas and control of his pitches i would have left him in there till his arm fell off. (Leland did). That's how the game should be managed and played. But in todays game it seams the highest player get the most face time instead of the hottest hand getting the call. (ask ther Yankee's minor league pitching staff).
That concludes today rant.

The best team in new york
Is not the Yankee's or the Mets. It's the Colardo Rockies. After (almost) sweeping the Yankee's the swept the Mets by scoring 17 runs! Good thing they got a week off. There gonna need it to find there pride.
Watched alot of TV (baseball) yesterday due the the weather and the fact I do not hit the gym again until tonight and here are a couple observations.
RED SOX
Did Popi go on Shaq's diet plan? He looks, well, good. Two or three years ago he was probley 35-40lb heavier than he is now. He does not look that intimidating at the plate anymore. Before you were afraid he was going to hit a home run with his stomach, now your just (kinda) worried about his bat.
Someone wake up J.D. Drew and tell him the season if 1/2 over. Really. I was watching him yesterday and actually saw him YAWN in the dugout. He was sitting next to Manny who was taking a nap in the corner.
Dice-K has been worth just about every penny. The little "stop and bump" he does in the middle of his wind up look like he's trying out for a porn film.
Mike Lowell. Nice year he's having. solid at 3rd. No injuries, and he has stepped up the power numbers a little. If A-rod pulls out of the all star game i would start him at 3rd.
YANKEES
Where's Giambi? Not since he went on the DL have i heard his name except for yesterday.
If the yanks have any chance of catching the SOX there gonna need A-rod. Rest him during the all star game. I know the fans voted him in an he may feel compelled to play but, Say he get's hurt. 10 million yankee fans and a 77 year old Steinbrenner (happy B-Day Georgie!) are gonna go bulistic. Why take a chance?
Johan Santana look awesome yesterday. He only made one mistake yesterday (matusie) and that left the yard. Good tune up for his 2nd 1/2 run where over the last two seasons he's 40 and 4 in the 2nd half. Let me clarify that a little further. 50 apperances (non playoff) and he is 40 wins agenst 4 losses. He's like the Oakland A's of pitching.
METS
Are 46-37 now with 4 games to play at Houston Before heading out to SF for the All Star game. Houston is playing well so the better watch out. Maine pitches tonight so lets see where he;s at before the rotation gets a few days off.
Could be worse for them. They have by no means played to there potentian this year so far. Carlos and Carlos are heating up. Glavine broke out the old "ben-gay ball" and seams to be back on track. Let see how this series playes out and then see how they fair during there 1st series back starting the 11th agenst Griffey and the Reds.
Announces and rendon baseball thoughts.
Remdog has lost him mind. I was listening to him yesteday and could barly keep track. I think he needs a vacation. He keep talking about his trip to the caribian. I like remmy, we need to keep him and put a 3rd guy in the booth. A guy who played like remmy but who is also alittle younger and less experienced in the booth. Lemmee Explain.....
I flipped over the the Yankee's game to see how Johan was doing (fantasy reasons) and Paul O'neil was doing the broadcast. I loved and hated him as a player. (Loved the way he played every day, day in , and day out.) Hated who he played for. He's awesome as a play by play guy. He has such a calmness about him when he speaks and when he tells a story your alost compelled to listen to him because of the way he played the game. Weather it's a story about Rob Dibble or Lou Pinnella you listen to the whole thing. During the 5th inning his wife brought cookies and put them in the booth next to where he was announcing. He could see them from where he was sitting and you could almost hear him salivating on the mic wanting to get to them. When the inning ended you actually heard the back of the chair hit the wall behind him and the headset hit the desk. And you thought to yourself, "Yup, I'd do the same thing." I hate announces who play to the croud. As much as i hate Michael Kay i can tollerate him when he has O'neal in the booth. My ultimate would be to put Paul O'neil, Al Lieter and John Flaherty in the booth at once and let em go. That would be fun, THAT would be hilarious, And do it during a Red Sox game. I could see Paul and Al getting into it during a pitcher vs. Hitter depate. And i could almost see the gys at the yes network having to have the hand on the bleep button if they ever really got into it. This i'll send them an e-mail now and see what we can do.
HOT DOGS
What's a 4th of July with out a hotdog eating compitition. I watched in horror as Jimmy Chestnut beat Kobavashi. What the F? After 5 minutes of watching, I was starting to gag. Holy crap. 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. That's one dog every 10.9 seconds. I love to eat, and i am not a small person but, I had 4 hotdogs yesterday in 5 minutes and i thought i was gonna hurl. People pratice this? Get paid for this? Have fan clubs? I'm in the wrong buisness. I should start plucking homeless people of the street and entering them in these compititions. I could make a fortune. (this would work, I'm sure of it.)
BREAKING NEWS
Speaking of breaking, The suns just signed Grant Hill to a two year deal. It's worth 1.8 million a season for an aging veteran with papermache ankles. (do beleive me? Stand next to Grant Hill, then sneeze in the dirrection of his ankles. Then watch then snap quicker that a ginger bread man at a weight watchers meeting.) What was Steve Kerr thinking? I know. I need someone for a salery cap exemption who will stay on the DL all season after the 1st pratice, who avaliable?
A-rod to sit out todays game and get an MRI on his hammy. (S-M-A-R-T M-O-V-E!)
Mickelson starts the day at 4 over at Tigers own Golf Turny. Do you think when Tiger was deciding on where to play his Turny his 1st thought was "Where does Lefty absolutly suck playing golf?". Yup, Me too.
And best wishes
To WANG YAN.
The chinese gymnast who fell of the uneven bars and broke her (yes, Yang is a her) 5th and 6th vertebra. Which should have killed her. This week she started moving her hands above her head, and both her legs on her own. WOW.
(thought i would spread some good cheer especially after the my mortality rant and then the Benoit news.)
More Tomorrow. (mabey ; - )

All star, HR derby, Vacation
Alot to go over now that i am back from vacation.
NBA
Ray allen goes to boston. This is about 10 years too late. He was perfect for boston right after his UCONN run. That would have been the only reason for me ot keep following the NBA over the past few years. Bad enough he wound up in seattle (I'm a Seattle fan. Sonics, Mariners, Seahawks) But being a wesrt coast fan in an east cost world sucks. I missed Kemp's good years, Could never get a Jazz game unless it was the playoffs. Where was the NBA package when i was actually interested in watching the games instead of reading the stat sheets so we could beet on the spread?
Oden signs with Portland. And immediatially goes to the summer league. (good call. There's NOTHING to do in portland. period. Someone prove me wrong?)
Derek Fisher leaves the Jazz to take care of his daughter Tatum. (make me feel warm and fuzzy). And told reporters that his daugher is more important than his playing career. Good for him. I do not have children but you can baet your ass if i did and something like this happened to them i would not rest till they were o.k. and i do not give a shit whaty my job would say. Fisher spent 8 years on LA (lakers) helped win 3 (or 4) titles and is considered an all around good player. I expect when his career is completely over he will wind up doing play by play or score a job with ESPN. He is not a HOF player but certianially in the Big shot Rob catagory of roll and off the bench players.
(o.k. i spent way too much time on the NBA)
I know i'm late on this one

I am horrified but the latest detail of what Chris Beniot did to his family. The more details that are released the more horrified i get. To think that he actually stranged his wife to death then turned on his son and killed him with his own signature move is beyond words.........
I watched to TV in awe and watch youtube clipps in disbeleif. I love Chris as a wrestler. As a member of the 4horseman, as the crossface crippler, and a man who could destroy wrestlers twice his size in the ring. Who could wrestle with the best of them, steeet fight with the best of them and who could pull off some of the sickest stunts in the ring. A 22 year veteran of the squared circle. Now, just simply known as a phycopath.

as a shot in the arm for the HR derby they announced defending champ Ryan Howard will participate. (Who else is in the derby? Is there an announded roster yet?)
Clemens wins #350. BFD. Ya know i'm not really impressed. The fact that he is still throwing 91/92 is impressive but the 350 wins is not. Why? you ask? Look, when Roger came up no one except ryan was throwing 95/96 on a consistent basis. Clemens was a genetic freek (back then). No one could catch up with his fastball. Not because of the speed but because of the movement. Then after a few years he got tired of just blowing it by people and desided to come up with "MR Splitty!". Then it was over. The Mr. Splitty cam about the time he took off to Toranto (Need i remond you, 3 Cy Youngs in three years?). So 350 is not suprising to me at all. I also hope i look 1/2 as good as hum physically in 8 years.
Hargrove "conspiricy theory's" about leaving the M's. There are a bunch of Theories as to why Mike left. I have my own. Mike is a humble man. Was as a mananger was as a player. Never wanted to draw alot of attention to himself. I think he's sick. I'm hoping it not cancer. I watch Mariners games when there on tv. And Mike does not look like he's lost anything. But's that's my opinion.
RIP -
To David Ritcheson.
A mexican-American youth who in 2006 was beaten, stomped, burned with cigerette butts, ans sodimized with a plastic umbrella stand, then his assilants poured bleach on him before leaving him for dead in a drug enduced rage.
David Henry Tuck was sentenced to life in prision. Robert Turner was sentenced to 90 years.
David Ritcheson jumped to his death yesterday from a Carnival cruise ship. He was found dead in the water an hour after he was reported jumping to his death.

Vacation -
Alot went on during me week off. I did alot of riding, did double sesions at the gym, eat steak, and took several naps. I learned alot. Here is a breif summery.
I learned whole spending a week camping........................
You can not screw up dinner on the grill.
Naps are more enjoyable at 1pm.
T.V. is not a necessity of life.
Satalite radio is not throwing money out the window.
Mike and Mike in the morning are F-ing hillarious.
A trailer park chick with a great rack looks alot better at 40ft than she does at 4ft.
Starting a Harley Davidson at 1am is not a good idea.
Budwiser has no worries of going out of buisness.
Making golf referances during a conversation confuses most of them.
People from over the Mason/Dixon line do not realize it not actually a line.
(actually quote from a gentleman from Alabama "I've heard about the line but actually never seen it.")
Trout fishing is Golf, for people who can not play golf.
And finally....
Mortalitly set in for me this week.
My girlfriends, sisters, boyfriend died on June 26th. It was kind of unexpected.
He was a great guy, when he was sober. Which lately was never. I have a conversation with him a few days before he passed and told him if he keeps drinking the was he was it was going to kill him and to let me help him and take him to rehab to dry out.
Let me clarify. This was not a two sided conversation. He was stupid/staggering/inconherent blitzed when i started screaming at him for getting into a fight with his girlfriend and calling her son a pussy. 4 hours later when he could hold his head up streight and actually knew what i was saying to him that when i started into him about going to rehab. I told him of my fight with alcholism and how i almost died. (Was pretty close there at the end for those of you who do not know.) I had to re-live my entire drinking career, the throwing up blood, the constant need for the next fix, next drink. Waking up in the middle of the night sweating and the only thing that could get me back to sleep was to get drunk again. Hiding the bottles. Making sure i had enought for sunday so i would not get sick and start detoxing. I told him i would take him out and get him loaded one last time, but that once he was done that he needed to go and dry out. He didn't have to go to AA meeting like i do, but to get the alchol out of his system before it killed him.
Less than two days later he was found dead with a bottle of Schnops next to the bed on the nightstand. He was 47.
I still think about drinking. I do not think there will ever be a day when i do not. Atleast i hope not. Me wanting to drink reminds me of who i am. I'm an Alcholic. I can not drink safely for long periods of time (or even short periods for that matter). I go to mettings, listen to people talk, share my thoughts and always try and remember who i am. I see it at the campground with one of my neibors who just absolutelly destroys himself every single night with a 30 pack of Bud (by himself). Then i see my father. 72 years old and 27 years sober. Enjoying life and what ever life gives him. Taking a ride on him motorcycle. Still driving truck (semi) 4 days a week and doing it better than guys 1/2 his age. Sure i think about going out and getting loaded, but i also think about living until i'm old, riding, swimming, fishing. August 1st i will have two years sober but i am more thankfull that i am sober today than ever before.
More on July 5th. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday.

I'm depressed
I just ran threw an artical that has me wanting to hang myself.
(punchline/reality check comes at the end)
Brook Shields. Remember her in the blue lagoon, hot, young, naked 90% of the time.
Nickole Kidman, We'll forget the Tom Cruise years. Remember the hot young Aussie, firey red hair, smooth pail body, ass you could stare at for hours....
Michelle Pfeiffer - Remember Catwoman? The fabulous Bakey boys? Age of innocence? Scarface? Hmmmmmm............................
Cindi Crawford - Remember (what, I need a minute alone for this one).............. This "mole" that made moles sexy, leggs that went on forever, long brown hair, The pepsi commercial. "Man, that's one good looking can."
THERE
ALL
OVER
40
NOW.
When did this shit happen? Seriously? Why was i not informed? Sheild (42) Crawford (41) Kidman (42) Pfeiffer (48!) 48! OH-MY-GOD!
And if that's not bad enought they listed the one;s who will be 40 this year.
Julia Roberts (just had 3rd child)
Pamala Anderson (see the new cell commercail where they put her in the old swimsuit?)
This sucks! What do i do now? Do we pick out new hotties? If sio do we not have an age limit? Like "no more than 15 years your jounior?" What if you only 30? Is 15 a crime if it's a tv or film star?
Like when Maria Sarapovia (the new hot russia tennis chick) was "only 16". we use to walk around saying " in two years she's gonna be the hottest chick on the planet". Well she was already the hottest chick on the planet but there was one problem.........
SHE WAS NOT LEGAL TO BANG!.
One day after she turned 18 ESPN.COM put her #1 on the sexiest females pole. One day changed her life that much?
I'm depress and confused now.
This sucks. I need a nap.....

Is the only time i will be able to post depending upon my work load. Alot running threw my brain today so lets get going.....
NFL...
Brady Quinn looses shoe throwing out 1st pitch at an Indians game. (Did you see he was wearing brown socks? Fashion nightmare, nothing goes with brown, but brown....)
CWS
How can anyone not be rooting for(or jumping on there bandwagon) UC Irving? Who played (and won) there 2nd extra inning game last night to avoid ellimination. Only saw the highlites but what a game. (Is this on espn2 or something?)
CFB
I know i am a day late on the one but, my condolences to the Hoeppner family and the Indiana State football family. He was 59 (makes ya think....)
NBA
I don't care. Hoops is done until october.......
MLB......
Could not wait for this one.
Hot player: Mark Teixeira (texas) to the Yankees for Phillip Hughes (pitcher). The trade makes perfect sence. The Yanks need a young(er) 1st baseman more than they need a pitcher(right now). If they are going to make a run at the playoffs the need Teixeira. He's a gold glove 1st baseman and good for 25-30 homers a year not to mention a 300 hitter (in a good year .280 in a bad year). He'll only have 1 year left on his contract come the end of the season and that will oly be $13m a year. (chump change for Georgie..) He's 27yrs old, in the biggs for 5 years now. Hughes is a month shy of 21. Send him to texas and let him pitch there for a year or two then buy him back!
O's want Girardi. (no shit, who doesn't.)
But i do not see it happening. Joe turned down the cubs job last year. Closer to home, more talent, more money to spend than the O's. Why would he take to O's job? Ther roster has zero power hitters (and yes, Miggie is no longer a power hitter), no pitching, 2nd worst fielding percentage in the league and fewest runs scored this season. There is not "upside" for him to take the job.
Watched some of the Redsox game last night. Coco Crisp not only has the best name in baseball but has become the best center fielder in baseball (sorry torri Hunter). The kid is a human highlite reel each week. UN-frickin-beleviable some of the plays i am seeing on baseball tonight, and he's on there every night........
And the best pitcher in baseball.....
Belongs to Johan Santana. 9ip 2h 0BB 1K
And he hit a smokin double down the line.
This was a hard choice because Josh Beckett was also on his a game last night and most of the season.
Ozzie Guillen " a joke"
Is what he called his teams play. OZ has never held anything back, but this one may bit him back. Ozzie runs on thin ice on a weekly basis, compound this with the teams not-so-good streak and top it with an "idiot" comment and you have the mixings of a disaster. Good luck Ozzie, your gonna need it.
Elijah Dukes (tampa bay) has become the Pacman Jones of the MBL.
Breif summery for those of you not paying attention.
Talked about the value of crack cocaine in the hood,
Called his mother a crack whore,
Denied calling him mom a crack whore,
Asked a radio host "When did i get in trouble for domestic violence?"
And finally...
Knocked up a 17 year old foster child at his moms house....
When asked if he needed help responded.. I need guidence, Yeah, guidence.. I went to jail for breaking a remote.
Milton Bradley and Gary Sheffield have nothing on this guy.....
He's one good base hit away from being Darrell Strawbury.
Gotta run.....

LAPTOP IS DOWN
So i am posting on my "lunch". I only have a half an hour so lets get right to it.
PACMAN.
What can you say. Now he is wanted for questioning because on of his associates (crew, gang, moron, call them what you will) shot at a parked car outside (deep breath) a strip club. Again, I am not the smartest man in the world but COME ON! WTF? Your meal ticket need to stay out of trouble and you go and shoot up a car (with someone in it). Pac needs to pull a Ricky Williams and head off to some monistary somewhere and chill out. (Is jail an option? Tank willaims is only serving a 10 game suspension. PAC could go to jail, bulk up, find religion, and stay out of trouble. This will work , trust me.)
Tiger is a Daddy.
I happy for him and his (smokin hot) wife. If he's smart he will teach him golf. You get a 40 plus year career in golf. MLB 10 years, Football 5 years. Makes sence to me.
NBA
I'm not a big hoops guy. Never have been. But with the draft coming up and Durant/Oden as the 1/2 picks respectivally i have to watch a little. Hot rumor this week is that KG is headed to boston. (Bill Simmons must be giddy). What i did watch growing up was Magic/Bird, Jordan/Barkley. That kind of ruined me on hoops because nothing could compare to that era.
MLB
Giambi is going to talk (name names) to George Mitchell this week. 5 bucks says he gets his knees broken with in 10 minutes of finishing. He's in dee[ shit if he starts naming names. Conseco is now a folk hero for writting his book. But Jason is not going to have a leg to stand on if he starts ratting out his fellow players. Something has changed in him. 10 years ago you could see him taking a bullet to the chest before squeeling, Now? I'm afraid he's about to take it up the ass. He may think he is doing MLB a favor but i don't see it.
Chone Figgins racked up 6 hits (6?) Yup. 4 singles one double and the game winning tripple. Holy crap.
Schilling, gave up what? 6 runs in 4 plus innings yesterday. Not a good sign. The yankee's are now only 8 games back. They made up 7 games in close to 21 days. I predicted A-rod would start to slow on may 22nd. He did. For about two minutes. My god is he on a tear, I think i'm actually starting to like him, almost like when he use to play for the Mariners.
Anyone paying attention to Prince Fielder? No? Well he's gonna pass a-rod for the homer lead any day now. (In case your wondering he plays for the Brewers...) What a fun team to keep track of. Loos by 1 win by 150. These guys are having fun and the absolutly crush the ball when the hit it. does not have to be a homer. Every time one of the guys hits the ball smoke come off like a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
40 days and counting until the trade deadline. Hot players at the moment..
*Bonds - if (big IF) he is traded is will have to be to an american league team to DH. No way his knee's can take playing 5 days a week. (I'm thinking yankee's, redsox, angles)
*Brad Lidge - I would trade him to the Cardnials so he never, ever, ever, ever, has to pitch to Albert again.......
*Ken Griffey JR. - Quietly having a fantastic year. Not sure if he would accept a trade.
NOW...................
What i really want to know is when the average person got so frickin stupid. Is it just me? Example........
I was riding my mountain bike this weekend when i stopped at a store to get a bottle of water. Got it, went outside and downed it right away. I walked back in the store (with the empty bottle) and asked jokingly "Do you give free refills?" while holding up the empty bottle. The kid freaked.. #1 - he had never been asked the question before. #2 - there was no manager there to ask. #3 - he was ringing out another customer and lost his place. I swear he started having a breakdown, sweatting, studdering, eye's rolling into the back of his head.......
So i left. Rode down to another store and got a bottle of water. I'm sitting on my bike leaning agenst the wall. (note: I'm in FULL GEAR. Helmet, gloves, pads, sunglasses ect...) and this old(er) woman passes me and says (sigh...) "Out for a ride?". With out missing a beat i respond. "As a child i was in a horrific car accident and lost the use of my leggs. Instead of a wheel chair i opted for a mountain bike sergically fused to the base of my spine. Was a radical operation back in the late 80's but is almost common place now. With advances in technology we have replaced the huge battery cabinate with this small compact assembly tucked away in my backpack." The expression on her face was priceless when he finally realized what was going on. (Ask a stupid question, get and unbeleviably complaciated answer that makes no sence). And as i rode awy i was making the errrRRRrrr sound like a battery being used up.
So i rode pack to the trailer where no one was around, got into me swom suite and went to the pool, where no one was around. Laying on a floatty thing in the pool just chilling out i see a woman and her son headed me way to the pool. (she was kinda hot for a trailer park chick). She gets to the pool and what's the 1st thing out of her mouth????
