Good for the NFL
For letting everyone see the Pats go down in history as the 1st 16-0 team.
With only 40% of America getting the NFL network it was a no brainier to let CBS and NBC broadcast the games. I know i would have been pissed if i was not able to watch the game. I had already planned where i was going to watch the game. (I was not about to sit at a bar for 4-5 hours)
I have said this before, but, the NFL in a Billion (Like $1,000,000,000.00 BILLION) dollar a year industry. Why, why, do they feel the need to charge us to watch the games on t.v.? I know how much my cable bill is every month, I know how much football i watch. I just do not see the need for it. Maybe they feel left out watching Boxing, UFC and WWE rake in millions of dollars on pay-per-view events and feel the need to reach deeper into the pockets of the fans? I love football, played it as a kid, played it as a young adult, and when the occasion arises play it as an adult. as the world changes we have to adapt. and the same i suspect it true for football. We have had to adapt to rule changes over the years (some of which i still do not understand). But to puinish the fans of the sport by trying to get and extra buck out of them is assinine. We already pay enough at the game, why should we from our living rooms?

Merry Christmas.
The Bronco's / Charges game is a bit of a blow out.
Let's move to the Patriots.
I watched a good part of the game.
1st half looked like was to have been a blow out. But something happened along the way to a wind. In the 2nd half they started to, well, suck. They could not move the ball down the field. Brady was taking way too may shots down the field and was forcing the ball to Moss. I know Tom wants to record so when he shows up in Hawaii he can rub it into Payton face.
Hey Payton, Looks like you lost some weight. Loose a record or something?
Now we go to the Meadow lands next week and see the Giants. The Giants have nothing to gain by playing all of the starters or by even winning the game. They will not improve there draw in the playoff so why not rest your starters and go into the playoffs healthy. New England wants to make history so i fully expect next weeks game to be a run away. BUT, what if the Giants 2nd team (who are trying to keep a place on the team next year, and auditioning for a job next year for another team) starts rolling over the Pats (It's a stretch i know.) but i could happen. I do not know. I will have to see what happens during the week and see how things shake out with the teams.

I am disappointed that Roger used his web site to post a response to the PED accusations. I know every one and there brother has a web site or a blog (look at me) but to not come out publicly in a news conference or something with reporters is asinine. He is also saying he will sit down with Mike Wallace of 60 minutes and have him interview him, Like Mike Wallace will ask him any questions he will not allow. Roger will have a list of questions we will and will not allow. I am sure of it. Roger has and will always be a controlling SOB. Even when he was in Boston. I truly believe no one but roger will ever know if we did or did not do anything.

Christmas
Is it me or is the build up to Christmas way too overrated. I must have gone Christmas shopping about 300 times over the last two weeks. Every time i went out i did not necessarily find something for the person i was shopping for but most times i did find a bunch of shit for myself. I just wish we could have gotten DSL for the house and i that way instead of updating my blog right now i could be downloading itunes right now for the gym.
Speaking of the gym.
I have not been to the gym since i got sick. Not sure if i am going to go Wednesday or wait until after the holidays (new years) when i quit smoking for the 100 time. I have to quit this time. I am only 36 and am already having "the cough" symptoms.
You know that morning hack that come up from your toes? Like back when i was drinking and i would have the morning heaves after downing 4 or 5 pints and a 15 pack the night before. It is almost on the same premise. I have to look at this like i did when i quit drinking over two years ago. This is going to be better for me and will prolong my life. I have been going to the gym 6 days a week for over a year and a half. i have been doing everything possible to improve my body but still did not quit. I have tried (which has been documented in previous posts) i have done the gum (disgusting). For the past week or so i have been keeping track of how much i have been smoking. (not good). Every time i light one up i get disgusted.
I am going to keep a running diary of the days and weeks after i do quit on January 31th at midnight. (That's a lie. I will probley be asleep at 10pm that night. I gotta work the next day.) That should be fun.

Sick, Clemens, Baseball Rant.
I have been sick for the last 4 days.
I have not posted because i have not been able to get out of bed. I hate getting sick, especially before the holidays.
Roger Clemens
Denies taking steroids. No kidding. The weird thing is will all the attention being paid to Roger everyone has forgotten about Bonds.
On one of my sick days
I was watching Rome is Burning. One of the commentators made a vary valid point.
We as a society are a very forgiving nation. I do not care who has used in the past. Lets let the records stand. Lets let the past be just that, the past. We all know that a good portion of the stars in the MLB were jacked or at least we think they were. The Mitchell report will forever be linked to the 90's and 2ooo's in baseball history.
Let's start a "do over". Remember as kids playing we could always call a "do over" when something happened that no one agreed upon? Why not now?
I am sick of hearing the Clemens, Bonds, Roberts, Sosa, McGuire and the rest of them were juiced. We all know Cal Ripken did not take. We all know Tony Guinn was clean. ECT, ect.
As a public we know who was dirty and who was clean. I remember watching the mark/Sammy HR race and thinking that even though i know there not "clean" that this was saving the pastime i so dearly love. Did i hate the fact they were saving baseball and not doing It legally? Yes.
Baseball hit it lowest point right after the strike. same way hockey hit me a few years ago after they decided to walk. It had to take something, and thing to get people back to the games, back to the TV sets. This was it. Did the owners know the players were shooting up? Of course they did.
Maybe it is just me. Maybe not.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED
There is no place to start with the Mitchell report. I guess i could focus on Roger and Andy like the rest of the league has.
Some of the stories i heard just last night were off the wall. Roger (if the accusations are true) was a walking drug store.

What if he was sitting there spitting out names like Howie Clark, Ricky Stone, Exavier Logan, and Ricky Bones and the FEDS are sitting there rolling there eye's because they have not heard of these guys either.
He's gotta throw out one piece of bait that will reel them in.

I changed my mind
Bobby Petrino
Made a "mistake" by taking the Falcons job and millions of dollars from Aurther Blank. WOW! Now he goes back to collage, the SEC, and takes over an Arkansas job that should be loaded for the next several years. Next year the SEC is the conference to watch. Let's see how Bobby B does in the recruiting stages of his new career over the next several months.
I had this conversation last night at the gym. When do you know a collage coach will always be a collage coach? Pete Carroll did the right thing by staying at USC a few years ago after he won the national championship and every NFL team was after him. He know he could never make it in the pro's (Just look at his pro record, not good.) I think it is something like once a collage coach, always a collage coach. (The just do not do well moving up the ranks. I do not care how good the money is.)

The Les Miles rumors of him going to Michigan will not stop. And why should they? HE CALLED MICHIGAN TWICE IN THE LAST MONTH!
Les is a Michigan alum. A Michigan supporter, and an avid fan. The LSU job is the right place for him but his loyalty, fan pressure, and the Michigan Ad may move him to take the job. He did sign and extension with LSU but there is a clause in there that will let him opt out to take the Michigan job. I think this is a dome deal after the bowl game is done.

I really hate the weather.
Not so much in Connecticut but in the midwest. This ice storm is really screwing up my buisnees here in Connecticut. The ice storm stopped the truck and of course stopped any shipment coming into Connecticut. Do we have trucks with ice scates on them yet? There has to be a better way.

Did you see the line in Vegas was 27 points? Jim Rosse who announces the WWE Monday night raw broadcast use to say about Stone Cold Steve Austin that he was about to "stop a mud hole in his opponent and walk it dry".
I think that is probably appropriate for what is about to happen to the Jets. Anyone got tickets for this public Lynching?
With the game expected top be as big a blow out as everyone is saying expect the T.V. ratings to be threw the roof. (almost like of they sold pay-per-view subscriptions for a public execution. Everyone would be agents it but 90% of them would watch.

Did any one read the article on Tinsley this morning? He got shot at. One of his "friends" got busted for skipping on a warrent (not a good sign). Guess where he was when all of this happened?

I was listening to the game in the car while i was running around doing some Christmas shopping. (Yes i am shopping Earlie this year.)
I got home around half time and watched the Pats pick apart the Steelers for the rest of the half.
Couple things i saw at the press conference that is obvious.
#1 - Do not give the Pats extra motivation.
#2 - Do not give Touchdown Tom extra motivation.
#3 - Moss plays great with a chip on his shoulder.
#4 - Never ever embarrass or call out the defence.
Best moments of the game was Brady talking shit to the steelers defence after the 2nd touchdown and the moment the steelers knew it was over.
This should be the home stretch of the undefeated season. They have the Jets (72 to 0) The Dolphins (760 to 0) and the Giants (who should have clinched a playoff berth by then and will be resting all of there starters). Then the bye week.
The Pats should be rested and healthy by the time the playoff run comes about.
Are we looking at the greatest team in NFL history? Arguably yes.
I actually just read a story on Fox Sports that Jimmy Johnson thinks Dallas may be the best team in football.
Really????????
I agree as far as a talent standpoint goes the Cowboys may be as talented as the Pats but there is one crucial difference he missed in his story.

DETROIT / SHORT POST
Gonna be a short post tonight.
I beat the crap out of myself tonight at the gym. My arms feel like the weigh 400 pounds. I set the laptop on the table and i had to rest for two minutes. Driving home as fun. I took the straightest route possible so i did not have to turn the steering wheel. Tomorrow night is leg night and were doing lots, and lots, and lots of squats.

ROSE AND SUGAR BOWL
Gonna give you my take on as may games as i can
While i am still awake and have an Internet connection. (long story)
Rose Bowl
Illinois vs USC
On paper this should be a laugh er. But do not count out Illinois out. Ron Zook will have his team ready. Ill's defence does not get much by way of publicity but they do a great job in zone and man to man. USC's defence is another story and get plenty of the press. Especially the run they had going down the stretch. There defence is not only ranked behind Ohio State.
Illinois has an advantage though. Juice Williams. The best quarterback name in collage today.
USC will have home field advantage even though they are not playing in there home stadium. And if they do not get there own stadium situation straight they will be next year.
I expect this game to become a complete laugh er and most men in America to start flipping over to the UFC somewhere before halftime. But do not take the game off the recall button. It may just surprise you.

Georgia vs. Hawaii
Two words and two words only will make or break this game.

Georgia must keep Colt Brennan and the high powered Hawaii offence off the field. Hawaii defence is suspect at best. Can, can, play good games (for those of us who set the alarms for 3am to watch a game, we know.) For Hawaii just getting to this game makes them winners already. They should attract some top flight talent over the next two to three years just because of this appearance.
Georgia on the other hand went to bed one night expecting to play for the national title and woke up playing in the Sugar Bowl. The will be nice, they will be considerate. The coach and the players will tell everyone they are excited to play this game. Blah, Blah, Blah.

PATS VS RAVENS AND THE BCS CHAMPIONSHIP
This is like Philadelphia all over again.
Kyle Bowler is having a good game. Is every quarterback in the league trying out for a 1st string job when they face the Pats? Baltimore 10 Pats 3 6:34 left in the half and the Pats driving.
Baltimore is all hyped up this game. Ray Lewis during his pre-game warm up looked like he was possessed by Linda Blair.
It's about 25 minutes in the game and they have yet to score a TD.
Brady just got nailed and over threw Moss.
I break in with updates as it goes on.
BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
I happen to agree with the fact Ohio State is in the game i only have one problem. They got in the game because they were stagnant for the last 10 days.
I think the SEC was given the benefit of the doubt this year when they put in LSU. The Tigers lost two games this year. BUT the two games too 6 overtimes for them to lose. (Both great games). LSU did not loose a game in regulation. Ohio state's two best wins were Michigan (when they had one foot in the grave) and Wisconsin (coming off a horrible game), LSU won a close game over Florida and just flattened VT.
Both offences are going to come at your defences. both are going to throw, alot! Should be one of the more entertaining games of the season.
BACK TO THE GAME.
About 3 and a half left in the half. the Pats can not hold on the the ball.
Boy Jaws gets really really excited during these games. Tony keeps trying to throw little jabs and jokes to keep thing lively and Mike T. knows every player and every collage team they played on.
Pats punt again. I sure hope when Bellichek goes into the locker room at half time he fixes what ever problem he has.

ESPN has been hyping the pats all year and then they go and invite Greise to the studio and Baltimore probley invited Donnie S. to the gave as an F-U to the Pats.
Think Shula went into the patriots locker room before the game and gave them a pep talk? (That would be like in the movie "Major League" when she came into the locker room and gave them the stats for the previous play off series.)
Don is also going to be in the booth during the 3rd quarter. What possible could he have to say? I'm Don Shula and i am rooting for the Ravens this game because i want to be the only undefeated team and my Dolphins suck?
I had a few Smokes today.
Not alot maybe 4 or 5. I got light headed every time i had one. This sucks. Work got to me a little and i had a half a pack in my car, I just had one tonight and everything is a little fuzzy.

With 22 days left until Christmas how many sales can Kohl's, J.C Penny and all the other guys come up with? The 7 day before Christmas sales? the one day after the 7 day before Christmas sale?
Is going postal due to the overload of Christmas music a valid defence in a trial if i take someone out for no particular reason?
After taking a dive this morning on the ice, I was laying there wondering if i could move all of my body parts. Once i realized i could i was happy i had Aflak. (But thank god i did not have to use it.)

Sunday Night
Let's go over the earlier games 1st.
On a sad note the Redskins lost the the Bills. The skins dominated most of the game for the most part but i think the emotion of the game got to them at the end. They started the game as i though they would playing only 10 defensive players in remembrance of Sean Taylor.
By now everyone knows that the 4 men the Dade County Police did arrest did shoot Sean. They were not expecting him to be home at the time they broke into his hose to rob him. The 4 are being charged with some sort of non premeditated murder.
Rams killed the Falcons. (who cares)
Adrian Peterson's Vikings rolled all over the Lions. Viking 42 - Lions 10
- Are the lions reverting back to there old ways? I thought John Kinda had this offence on track? Or was it the rookie of the year Adrian Peterson (who ran all over them) that officially stuck a fork in there season? You want to see the Lions do good (for at least one year) but i think there season is done.
Seahawks vs. Eagles was a pretty good game.
I actually got to see a bit of this on the TV.
I was right about McNabb needing to take the week off the let Feeley stink up the joint for another week. Now no one will question that he is the better QB. McNabbs job is safe. (at least until the draft. Two Words. Colt Breenan.)
The ageless Panthers rolled over the 49ers. (only story here is that Vinnie is still playing football. Didn't he turn 85 this week or something?)
I can not believe the Cardnials beat the Browns (27 to 21)
I had such high hope for the Browns this week. But here we go with the "over the hill gang" QB's ruining the point spreads and fantasy leagues around the country again. (RETIRE YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!)
Titans 28 - Texans 20
Colts 28 - Jags 25
(The Jags actually had a great chance to win this game but just could not finish off the colts.)
Changers 24 - Chiefs 10
J-E-T-S 40 - Dolphins 13

I watched this game. I watched the whole game. What a cluster F@#$!
Eli did pull out the win but for 3 and a half quarters he looked like the was pulling his PUD. Could not hit a receiver to save his life. Plexico looked like he was playing on one leg for all but his last catch. Shocky did not have a catch in this game (but did have a could great blocks). The Giants offence looked horrible, just horrible. Even in the last two drives. dropping balls, shaking there heads after every play. Thank god i am not a Giants fan. The Bears looked even worse, except for the 1st drive.
Enough of that.
It's raining again in Pittsburgh. (News flash)
So far the field is holding up pretty good but were only10 minutes into the 1st quarter.
I flipped it over the the bowls selection special but we will break down the bowl games tomorrow night and weather i agree or disagree with the selections. Not enough time tonight and i had a long day.
No, I was not watching TV all day.
I went to the gym, ran arrons, got food, got a hair cut and did a few other ME things.

There is a gym around every corner of my town and 5 the next town over in all 4 directions. why do i keep running into so many fat people?
People must be paying money to keep these gyms open, right?
Why when a dusting of snow gets on the ground does the speed limit suddenly drop from 40 to 4 mile an hour? Didn't these people grow up in new england? were use to snow remember?
I was in a computer store today and wondered is MAC and PC hang out after they get dome with the TV commercials?
Commercial - Brad Pitt is making a big announcement tomorrow on the today show!!!!
What's next? We find out Britney Spears is pregnant again? (whoops, sorry......)
Speaking of which. When did Britney go from the guy every guy in American wanted to sleep with to the skank, looser no one in the world (except one) would sleep with no matter how much money she paid you? WOW I remember when she became "legal" and you could talk about here openly in a sexual manner. she was the hottest thing since the last hottest thing you were talking about last week. But she stayed on the spotlight, had a few hits.
Honestly. If someone asked you who is the bigger whore, skank right now between Kevin Federline and Spears, Right now you'd have to say Britney.
I'M STILL NOT SMOKING.
I have not killed anyone yet. (but if i did i would not put it on the internet.)
There are some minutes where everything is fine and then there are the flashes of, just other things. Sometimes is being nerviousness, sometims rage. I get tired really quick, then i get mad for no reason. Then there are the times i am driving. All i can say it is a good thing for everyone on the road that i am still making payments on my car. Remember Mel Gibson on MADMAX? Ohhhh Yea. That would be nothing. I would be like a Nascar driver on crack with his helmet on backwards. (sounds like a movie)
We'll see what happens tomorrw when i get back to work.

Friday late night
Suspects arrested.
Police arrest 3 suspects in the Sean Taylor murder investigation.
Good. And i hope they got the right people. Not a lot of details yet (at least from what i have read so far). I really hope thing start panning out in the next few days and we can find out what really happened.

Still wish i could have seen the game last night. I talked to one of my buddies who watched the game (and did not Tivo the F-ing thing) and he said it was one of the top 3 game of the year. He started telling me what happened in the 1st quarter and i had to shut him down.

Police arrest 3 suspects in the Sean Taylor murder investigation.
Good. And i hope they got the right people. Not a lot of details yet (at least from what i have read so far). I really hope thing start panning out in the next few days and we can find out what really happened.

Still wish i could have seen the game last night. I talked to one of my buddies who watched the game (and did not Tivo the F-ing thing) and he said it was one of the top 3 game of the year. He started telling me what happened in the 1st quarter and i had to shut him down.
I'll buy the game when i comes out on DVD.
(I'm still pissed about the game not being on t.v.) The NFL is a MULTI BILLION dollar a year industry/sport. WTF? Sons-a-bitches need to charge me another 30 bucks a year to watch 8 games?

I quit smoking at 6pm today.
I am really not happy right now. I am 4.5 your removed from a smoke and i want to destroy the 1st person who pisses me off. (Good thing i am at home and everyone in the house is asleep.) I can not wait to go to the gym tomorrow. This is not going to be good it. This will be like the fight i am watching on spike t.v.

This is the way fighting was intended. Two men, one cage and a ref to stop the fight when someone accidentally get kicked in the balls. Perfect. They even hat hot looking right girls to tell you what round it is. I know i am being sexist but the withdrawal is killing me right now.

NFL "non" night
Cowboys vs. Greenbay.
Most of america is missing a good game.
Last i knew it was Cowboys 27 / Greenbay 17
Farve is out of the game with a elbow injury.
Romo is having a 3 touchdown game.
Arron Rogers has throw a touchdown.
Only 33% of the american households get the NFL package.
The gym i go to did not even have the game on the treadmills. I would have jogged all night if they were playing the game on the TV's.
WTF ?
This is arguable the 2nd biggest game of the season. Why didn't the NFL do something? Probley because 250 thousand people signed up for the NFL network today just to see the game. The NFL could have slapped us in the face even further and put the game on pay-per-view?
That would have been good. I would have paid $9.95 for the game. Do i get a pre-game? Does Jimmy, Terry, and Howie get to do the pre-game?
This f-ing sucks. I am watching the Rutgers game and they keep breaking in with the score. Then telling about Romo's completion persentage. This is like a junkie who has a fix dangeling in front of him and he can not get to it.
I'm sweeting, litterially swetting looking for and waiting for further updates.
I hate this.
I could bitch for the next hour about this but i think i am going to call the NFL network and see if i can get the last 10 minutes of the game.......

Midweek crisis
I did not post yesterday for a reason.
Sean Taylor.
Alot came out right after Sean was killer.
For those of us who follow collage football we remember him as the fastest, hardest hitting saftey in the game. Alot was written about him being the 2nd coming of Ronnie Lott.
For those who follow the Redskins you could see him becoming what was written.
Joe Gibbs and Dan Snyder will do the right thing. Word has it the Redskins will start the 1st defensive series missing a man. Almost lke the missing man formation the Air force flies after they loose a pilot.
This is a proper gesture and Sean was the anchor of the defence.
Now the police are saying that it was a randon shooting. I find that a little hard to believe because of his standing in the community.
I read alot of material on the web about him being shy and reserved off the field and then "changing" when his daughter was born. Becoming more friendly, talking to reporters a little more. Sean never did like reporters to begin with. He was the opposite of TO.
Sports reporters are a strange breed. I will bet the same reports who berated him in the past are writing empathy pieces on him now.
I am not a Redskins fan. But i will be watching the game and routing for them this weekend.
I hope everyone else is as well.
More on Sean when everything shakes out.

Donavan McNabb says he is getting better but is not sure if he will play on Sunday. Of course he is not going to play. A.J. Feeley did a great job and he wants him to start one more time to prove it was a fluke. (not a bad idea). But what if it was not a fluke? What is in the right offence Feeley is a good quarterback? Maybe Donavan is not the man and feeley could do a better job? I know it is not going to happen but after the "Maybe the pats could give us our rings back" comment he made after spy gate i hope someone fills his jock with Bengay.

Monday night
I need to hurry this up. I keep getting updates on this computer and keep getting shut down.
The Steelers suck. 3rd quarter and still no score. So much for climbing the ladder as one of the elite teams. That's all they had to do was roll over Miami. Well...... Were waiting??????
3rd quarter and still no score. WTF. The way i see it the pecking order goes as follows.

#5 - The Packers.
There is not a number 2 or 3 team in the NFL. New England is so far ahead of the rest of the league right not is not funny.
ON TO OTHER THINGS...............
What a great time to be a collage football fan. Things are so much up in the air still. The only thing we know is that if Mizzou wins out there in the title game. Nothing else in my eyes is set in stone.
Still a good time to be a Rutgers, Kansas, Ohio State and Florida fan. I have and east coast bias to Rutgers. Couple of the games last and this year got me hooks.
I'm not proud of the fact i am watching WWE tonight.
I heard that he was going to retire tonight. He said he was not going to retire until he was dead in the ring. With the send off he is getting by the other wrestlers he might as well be dead. Something is going to happen an he is going to be out of the WWE. He's gotta be at least 60 yrs old by not. He has been in the ring since the Earlie 80's (at least on TV anyway.)
He even said earlier in the night he looked into local politics and started a marketing corporation. I thing he is gone. Not sure if he will end up in TNA or not. Maybe Jeff Jerrett has a job for him in the front office.

Flair is putting up a good fight so far.
Speaking of the UFC i love the fact that every other month the put some of the best fights on live TV. Sometimes not the top fighters in there division but some of the really, really good one's. MMA and the UFC have come suck a long way in a short time. I have even taking some grappling lessons.

The unfortunate part of this is with the world getting more voilent every day we are turning to more voilent sports. This may be a sad fact but it is true. I do enjoy every minute of a UFC fight.
Another thought. I have not seen one Payton Manning commercial tonight. Are his writes on strike? I could write one of his commercials.

New England on Sunday Night
Well here we are again.
So far the Eagles look pretty good. But where still in the 1st half.
I should keep a running blog but i am just going to make comments based upon what John Madden has said so far.
For the 1st 25 minutes here is a brief summery.
Tom Brady, blah blah blah, Brian Westbrook, Tom Brady, blah blah blah, Brian Westbrook, tom Brady..........
HOLY CRAP!, the Eagles are winning?
I gotta go outside and see if things are starting to freeze over. Who would have thought this? A.J. Feeley? Leading the Eagles over the past twards the end of the half?
Ellis Hobbs on his horse to the 46 yard line....
Are the Pats trying to make the game interesting? did the league call and ask them to keep it close for a half or so? Only thing i can imagine is the line in Vegas go so high the called and asked Bill if he could keeps the points down and screw the league. (I could actually see that happening. "Hey Bill this is Vegas. Could you keep the score close? Were taking a real beating because of you guys. I got a week in Japan with your name on it and 19 Kassia girls if you can do it?") Maybe not. Bill could be surrounded by 11 hookers and would only be thinking there in the wrong formation. (That's funny, True, and funny.)
1:49 left and the Pats are on the move.
Welker. This kid remind me of Wayne Crebet of the Jets. Tough, fast and not afraid of going over the middle. Let's just hope he does not get 900 concussions like Wayne did.
Wow Moss took a hit. The Eagles are for Real, at least in this 1st quarter. Gafney Td from Brady. Pats 24 Eagles 21.

It's a real gym. Has weights, benches, and all the lifting equiptment you could ask for. The eye candy is also a bonus. although i try not to look too much. When i am lifting i do not like anyone looking at me, so i try and return the favor. But i had this one moron who must not have taken the class on what to do when lifting in the gym.
#1 - Do not walk in front of someone when they are lifting in front of a mirror. This is not being vane. When someone lifting or a bodybuilder is doing this this is so he can make sure he is keeping proper form. This moron must have walked in front of my about 10 times in a 25 minute stint.
#2 - If you water bottle is on a bench. The owner of the water bottle has territorial right on said bench. I PUT MY WATER BOTTLE ON THE BENCH THEN WALKED TO GET A COUPLE DUMBELLS. He put HIS water bottle next to mine on the bench. When i got back (which was less than 10 seconds) He looked at me and asked "Are you lifting here?"
F-ING DUHH???????
I took everything i could not to stuff a 70lb dumbbell up the assholes crack.
Good thing at that point i was pretty much finishing up.
Pissed me off to know end. By the time i walked up the stairs i was fuming and was just about speechless.
There has to be a lesson in this but i have no clue what it is at this point. Your comments are very welcome.

Can not believe Brady just got sacked. This is the 1st time i have ever started running a blog during a game and i do not this was a good idea.
Nice kick by Hanson. do you think this will put him on the stat sheet now?
Hanson has so few kicks he is not eligible to be among the league leads in any category. Like when a rookie in baseball comes up during the 2nd half of a season and can not receive rookie of the year votes because he has not played enough games. Or the year Robinson Cano almost did not make the list for the batting title due to lack of at bats.
Feeley looks very good tonight. he may have earned himself a backup job for the next 5 years.
It's only been like 4 days since we had turkey day and i have seen nothing but Christmas and Payton Manning commercials on TV.
SPEAKING OF MANNING.................
What and egg Eli layed today in Giants stadium. 4 picks. 3 returned for touchdowns. And his brother was watching the game n the stadium. If i was Patton i would have been thinking the whole time "You know i could be shooting a commercial right now."
I CAN NOT BELIEVE MOSS DID NOT CATCH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you know when you have ED? WOW Cealis cause all of those side effects? I get some all natural stuff at GNC that does not have any of these side effects and will let you pound nails with your pecker for 5 hours and all you get is a little dry mouth.
Missed field goal. Pats come away with no points. This is not as good sign. I have a bad feeling even though there playing at home. Why did they pick this week to look normal. Is Lawrence Taylor a "special assistant" for the Eagle and sent a hooker to all of the patriots rooms and asked them to "show em a good time all night" Like he did back when he was playing for the Giants?
I don't know about tonight. Either the Eagles are playing above there head or the Pats are having an off night. I think for New England the rest of the year every team the play will come in with a chip on there shoulder looking to knock them off. Either that or the 72 Dolphin will be putting out a bounty for Tom Brady's head. (Schula is a dick. F him and his 72 dolphins.)
They just showed a shot of the pats bench and they do not look interested in the game. Before they even played the had already clinched the division. Missed field goal. Pats come away with no points. This is not as good sign. I have a bad feeling even though there playing at home. Why did they pick this week to look normal. Is Lawrence Taylor a "special assistant" for the Eagle and sent a hooker to all of the patriots rooms and asked them to "show em a good time all night" Like he did back when he was playing for the Giants?
I don't know about tonight. Either the Eagles are playing above there head or the Pats are having an off night. I think for New England the rest of the year every team the play will come in with a chip on there shoulder looking to knock them off. They just showed a shot of the pats bench and they do not look interested in the game. Before they even played the had already clinched the division. Something bug has to happen on the offensive side of the ball or they could let this game get away from them. For the Eagles this is the biggest game of there year. Kinda weird. Late nigh staurday
Flipping the channels and what do see?????
Kansas getting there ass kicked by Mizzou?
It's not even Christmas yet. Holy crap! I know it's olny half time but things do not look good. I'm glad i did not spend the afternoon looking at the Uconn game. What a disaster. 68 to 21? Uconn was (WAS) ranked in the top 20. With everything we have seen this year you would think we would have known by now. no team is safe.
Unless you the New England Patriots you are not guaranteed a win, which brings me to,
I am almost glad i have not been able to post for 11 weeks.
Being located in Connecticut you get a different prospective on sport in new england. Stuck between Boston and New York you get to see both sides of every story. BUT,
What Brady and company are doing to the rest of the league is ridiculous. I know i did not post on spygate story but i had my opinion. Everyone (especially Bill Simons) think the PATS are running up the score. WELL DUH!
What did you expoct? Them to lay down this year and let the league roll over them as an "I;m Sorry" jesture? Not with the hood master at the helm.
Now with the flex schedule that the NFL has put into play you can expect to see new england evey sunday night for the rest of the year.

Not as exiting as it would sound. But it has been fun. Especially as a recovering alcholic. watching some of these dude's come in there4 just wasted has is just off the wall funny when you are looking at it from my perspective. I'll see if i can get a picture but i doubt it. After all i am the security.
Best part about it is taking the guys out on there ass. I am not a huge guy (5ft 10" and 240lb) but i can handle my own. Watching someone come in the door and size me up i immediately know what i am in for if they do something stupid. I'll have to take them out and in there intoxicated state they think they can take me.
One important lesson you should lean. Alchol slows your reaction time. ALOT. By the time they are figuring out that happened i have them at there car finger printing there face on the hood of there car. (that has to be the best part.)
I am still learning the new computor so the more i play aqround with it the better i will be with it. So that means i will be posting every day.

I'm Back
OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS
I have been disgusted with what is going on in the sports world.
RICK ANKIEL
From the Cardnials was linked to HGH. this is/was/should be THE FEEL GOOD STORY. But since the story has come out there has been a hish, hish on the situation. was he rehabing an injury and was prescribed HGH? We may never know the way the story seems to have gottne sweeped under the rug. I was (and still am) routing for this kid. To go from a pitcher at an outfielder with descent power is an amazing story in itself (Roy Hobbs-esk). Let's hope the istutaion resolves itself and Rick was found to be under a doctors (a real one) supervision.
Mike Vick
WOW. Talk about a fall from grace. One the poster boy for the NFL now a poster boy for Cell block B. This goes back to the point i have made over and over again. Smart people with money make (most of the time) smart decisions. Mike has always seemed to me to be a bit of a thug. Atleast with Pacman you KNEW what you were getting. With Mike it was a Jeckall and Hyde. One day he is pushing Nike adds saying "Impossible is nothing" Next week he is giving his own fans the finger for booing him. You make 13 million a year on a national stage fans have the right to boo you. (Just ask Barry Bonds.)
Steriods.
I make alot of jokes on this site about my dealer and me taking roids. truth is i do not. I got big by eating (sort of) right and going to the gym 6 days a week. Now most sports fans know there is steriods in sports butnot too many give a crap while the athlete in question is still performong at there highest level. Soon as they fall from grace the fans and the sports writers are all over them. (Just ask Big Mac. and Sosa.) Now a days fans are shocked when the learn there favorite player or an up and coming player is linked to PED's.
I love bodybuilding. I will never be as good or as big as Jay Cutler ot Ronnie Coleman. Everyone assumes there on steriods. Well , the probley are, but, there probley on steriods that will not be avalioable to the rest of the world for another 2-3 years. That's why they always test clean.\
And I could be wrong.
What if most and/or all of today bodybuilders are not taking roids? What if threw companies like muscletek and zience we are making advance for the human body that can make a 5ft 10in man 265lb of ripped muscle? Possible? YES. Look at the things we take for granted today?
Turn by turn direction, cell phones, wireless internet, BLOGGS?
None of this was even concieved of 15 years ago. Why not a better body threw chemistery and hard work? And it is hard work. most of these guys eat 10 times a day and work out up to 4-6 hours a day. You want to lift in the gym for 6 hours a day 6 days a week? (Didn't think so).
I will be posting evey day from now on.
Hopefully nothing else breaks.

Nothing but Nascar

With my computer at home in the shitter and having to post at lunch not sure how i am going to work this but today is nothing but NASCAR.

F'd me big time. Maybe i will change my view in a day or so but for right now i should just bend over, spread my checks and lube up. I had him this week in my pool. TWO LAMPS TO GO AND HE SPINS OUT AND FINISHED 9TH. WTF!? Good thing the TV i was watching at the time was not mine. MF'er cost me 42 points in the long run. Ya, he finished in the top 10 but he could have scored the first 200 point race of the season. Pissed was not the word. (I quit smoking this weekend on Friday, Made it all the way until Sunday at 5:45pm. Gordon spins, Smoke wins, Dave gets pissed, runs to the store buys a pack of smokes for 6 bucks. I need to quit gambling, And smoking, AGAIN.) My F'ing ass is still sore this morning.

3rd win in 4 races. If anyone had momentum on there side rolling into the chase it's Smoke. If he loosed 15lb's he could have shaved .003 seconds off his time. I the last 4 weeks Tony has done nothing but shut his mouth and drive (good choice.) Not sure if Mr. Gibbs said anything to him or not but all of his and Zippy's interview have been yes and no answers.
Speaking of shutting his mouth
Dale (from what i have read) did not say much after the DNF for the blown engine. Tony JR. on the other hand may have opened his mouth alittle too wide. I saw the post race interview on ESPN and Tony said something like "If we make the chase, We make the chase. If we don't, We don't. (pretty sure that's about his exact wording of the situation.) I know Tony's gonna be out of a job and all at the end of the year and all but come on......
Have we given up? Your only 13th in the points. It's not an insurmountable defecate to make up.
Can we get off the pity pot and put your foot to the floor and maybe start you interview process for your job next year?

That was a half a bitch fight, AT BEST. Neither took of there helmet, Hans, or Gloves. I watched the "fight" or altercation if you will, and they were three open hand shots way from being call Juanitta and Kirstie.
They did not remove there helmets. almost none of these guys are perty to begin with but WTF. Kevins the biggest pussy this side of the mississippi (his wife got custody of his balls on there wedding day) no way he was throwing his helmet off. Juan, on the other hand, atleast he pushed Kevin a tad. I thought that he had gotten the better of the "fight" until i saw hos post race interview. What was he wearing on his face? Did he borrow a pair of sunglasses from Paris Hilton? If some of the other drivers like this kid the'll take him to the NASCAR store and buy him a real pair of shades. Holy Crap, Looked like he had stepped out of a fucking fashion mag. Then he went on a Paris Hilton rampage. Here is a couple of quotes.

I have been busy all week and have not had a minute to post. I will be all over the place today.

I am so sick of reading about this dumb bitch every time i click on the net or watch the news. Now there was a story on yahoo sports saying she was seen kissing Kasey Kahne. (cheek kiss and she also said he's hot). Can we use Paris as a f-ing speed bump? I am so sick of seeing here even the old porn takes are no longer interesting.

Over the last week it almost seams like home coming. I was wriong about the Celtics singing Allen. Allen and Paul Peirce and no good together, BUT, Throw KG in the mox and you have a perfect "BIG 3". Baring injuries, I expect them to make it deep into the playoff series. This is also your "Win Now" team situation. These guys will only stay together for about 3-4 years tops. KG will be 34-35 and at the end of his career, Peirce will be hitting 32 or so and starting to tail. Allen will be 35-36 and still active for a point guard but his defence will be half of what it once was. If boston does not have, or at least appeared in a championship series this will not have been worth it.

Over the last week it almost seams like home coming. I was wriong about the Celtics singing Allen. Allen and Paul Peirce and no good together, BUT, Throw KG in the mox and you have a perfect "BIG 3". Baring injuries, I expect them to make it deep into the playoff series. This is also your "Win Now" team situation. These guys will only stay together for about 3-4 years tops. KG will be 34-35 and at the end of his career, Peirce will be hitting 32 or so and starting to tail. Allen will be 35-36 and still active for a point guard but his defence will be half of what it once was. If boston does not have, or at least appeared in a championship series this will not have been worth it.

I was wondering aloud this weekend

About the state of baseball. Steroids, Bonds, The Comish, 500 homer mark droping like flies in a bond fire (camping reference #1). Cal and Tony played a combined 41 years and barely make the 500 mark combined. Cal was a spotty power hitter with flashes of brilliance. Tony was the ROCK of the Padres. 3 Batting titles.
Sure tony had a little controversy after he retired about his extra marital affairs, and everyone gave Cal some grief about "playing while hurt" but you never head of them "juicing". (There a joke in there about Tony , I just can not bring myself to write it down).

We camped with the nephews this weekend and i realized why i have not had children. (other than being male)

I am not a morning person. At my best i am ready at 8ish on Saturday or Sunday after a cup of coffee and a glass of muscle milk. (http://www.musclemilk.com/ for those of you wondering). 1st thing out of there mouth is "Uncle Dave, When we going to the pool?". Now I'm a bit of a smart ass to begin with and some of the responses coming out of my brain are just not right. But i was good. I told them that we would go when i got back from the gym.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
They wanted to go right then. I just spent the last of the night hours with them in the pool and watching the Fantastic 4 before bed. Then after i did not respond they started bombarding me with questions.
We gonna go to the pool when?
Are we going fishing?
When is lunch?
Can we catch bullfrogs?
Can i watch a movie?
I left.
I went to the gym. For 2 and a half hours. And worked out. Intensely. Like a maniac. I'm paying for it this morning. I hurt, alot.
between the pool with the kids, the gym, the 8 smores bars i ate while sitting by the fire, and the mountain bike ride i took in the rain (thunder and lightening) I am struggling.
Where am i going with this?

If i was Mr Blank (owner of the Falcons) I would donate his salery to PETA. Vick is going to get paid until he is convicted (for now).

I will explain
Why i have not posted for a few days.
Let's go over the good stuff 1st then will get to the bad.
Seattle
Signs Ichiro threw 2032. Which means he will be getting paid from the Mariners until he's 58.
LEMME EXPLAIN.
Ichiro is signed until 2012. That 5 years 90 million dollars. 5 million dollar signing bonus and a base salary of 17 million a year. Not Bad, but it gets better. 5 million a year is deferred (kept) by the Mariners making his base $12 mill a year. STILL not bad, but it gets better. The 5 million a year he is not getting will collect 5.5% interest and he will start getting annual payments the year after he retires. This means (if i did the math right) He's gonna collect another 30 to 40 million. (How F-ing cool is that?) Along with this the Marines also give him the following per year.
$33,000.00 housing allowance
(1) new Jeep or Mercedes SUV each year (sweet!)
(4) first class round trip tickets to Japan
(1) personal trainer (like he actually needs that)
(1) interpreter (He doesn't need that either. He speaks better English than most people i know.)
Is he worth is? I say yes. He is just as quick now (at 33) as when he came over from Japan (at 28). He is hitting .352 and leads the majors with 133 hits as of Wednesday.

His sample "A" tested (get this) 6 times over the normal limit. 6 TIMES! Holy crap! what did he forget he shot up, well, 6 times? Right now Floyd Landis is at home laughing his ass off. Did i mention pat is from the German T-Mobil team?

Had 10 times the normal levels of testosterone in his system at the time of his death. along with a host of other drugs in his system (Xanax, and Hydrocodone). It appears that Chris had also drugged his wife and child before killing them. Sick, just sick. Like is said in a previous post, I admired Chris because of who he was in the ring. Now when people remember him, all they will remember is a phycopath.

Everything we read in the paper, everything we see on the news points to his guilt. We are told "innocent until proven guilty" but how can you not throw this kid under the bus and drive it back and forth a million times? Aurthur Blank must be besides himself. The Falcons organization must cringe every time his name is mentioned. Not to mention Tank Johnson, Pacman Jones and the entire Bengals teams are saying to themselves "I didn;t do anything that bad!"

#2 - He names it (something like bad ass kennels)
#3 - HE bet on the fights
#4 - HE trained the animals
#5 - HE financed the operation

Now, for those of you who think this will take a year to come to trial, think again. The court house in Virginia has passed the "Rocket Docket". This is THE FASTEST MOVING COURT HOUSE IN THE UNITED STATES. AND the judge assigned to this case is a known hard ass on defendants. He might as well grab a can of Vaseline and bend over because in plain English, He's Fucked.
The evidence, the know evidence released already, is probley enough to convict him on the charges brought agents him. Were going to have a few (3 to 4 is my guess) to collect more evidence. People, to get there 5 minutes of fame, will come out of the shadows in droves to testify agents Vick. And my question is this, Where's his brother? Marcus went to Virginia Tech, lived in Virginia while this was going on.
Three other were indicted along with Vick. Mike is the big fish in this pond, so i would not be surprised to see the other members cut a deal for lesser charges to turn evidence agent him. Let's see what happens over the weekend, with the NFL, with Mr. Blank being back in the states, and with the prosecutors.
If in a few moths is he is conviced of this crime i say we throw him in a pit and let the dogs at him. I would like to see the same thing done to.............

Harrel Franklin Braddy was convicted tuesday of trying to kill a young mother and leaving her 5 year old daugher to be eaten alive by alligators in the Everglades. This trial had been going on for 9 years. He now faces the death penalty.
Now, he left a 5 year old girl on the side of Interstate 75 know as alligator alley. He droped her in the water, alive and beaten, for the gators to eat.
When it is finally time for this man to die, will the right groups for the "proper treatment of prisioners" protest this mans death? Can we not give him the chair and instead drop him in this part of the alley, chain him down and they the gators have lunch? Would seam fitting wouldn't it? Can i chain him down and watch from a safe distance? Please?
Better yet we could set this up as a SPIKE TV special, and run it after midnight so we would not have to edit anything. Any takers?

What a weekend
Where to start............
I saw the ESPY'S last night
Kinda boring. The only thing i still have burning in my brain is LeBron dunking the baby and then doing a skit of Bobby Browns "My Perogitive". He was funny. I did not catch the while thing as i keep flipping the channel over to Spike TV and watching reruns of C.S.I. Vegas.
Phillies 1st to 10,000 losses.
Not sure is that is actually something to be proud of. YES? NO?
Philly fans are known for being the toughest around. By toughest i mean for actual fighting. Need examples? (thought you would never ask.)
#1 - The "battery game". Throwing D batteries at Giants players. (that's class)
#2 - A.I willing and carrying the team on hos shoulders to the playoffs. Then after they were sweepted running Iverson out of town. (Iverson was such a bad ass he played for a half a season with a F-U attutude twards the croud.)
#3 - The late 80's for the Phillies. Just a horrible time in baseball for philly fans. (Missed drafting Griffey, Missed A-Rod, And missed Paul O'Neil, Greg Maddox, Norm Charlton, ect, ect. I dare you to name one of there draft choices from the late 80's and earlie 90's that is still in the game?. Just a shame.).
#4 - Donovan McNabb carried them to the superbowl. They loose and all the in-fighting and fan fighting starts.I remember going down to Simkar after that and listening to the sports radio, off the charts on the comedy scale. Drunken philly fans (at 10am) just killing Donovan and the rest of the Eagles.
For as long as i can remember i have always heard people say that philly was the toughest city to play in, beacuse of the fans. There attutudes change faster than a brides after she says "I do". (I'm twice divorsed. I earned the right to say that.)

Tony did not put him in at the end of the all star game. Maybe (as stated in a pervious post) this is Pujols way of screaming "Hey LaRussa, Should have put me in the game!" A pissed of, something to prove Pujols is almost as dangerious as Gary Sheffield on a new cycle.

My dealer hooked up with a hot woman on paris. He never coming back (so he tells her.) Does anyone but me know who winning at the Tour-de-Steroids?
Mourning to play "one more year"
"And this is my last year" Alonzo Mourning is going to play one more year. Espn will be calling you for a job in one year and one day from now.
This makes me think, Is it a good idea to announce your retirement a year in advance? We do it in the real world. I remember when Riggie did it. (Reggie Miller for those of you asking.) (He played for the Pacers). To his credit even Madision Squre Garden gave him a standing ovation. (which totally cought him off guard as Knicks fans HATED him.) But New York reconginizes that Reggie played hard every day. Same can be said about Mourning. Zo had this "chip" about him when he first came up. There were a few bigger guys but no one, I mean NO ONE was faster for a big man. Malone (Carl, UTAH JAZZ) could give him a run for a quarter or two but not the whole game. I think Zo will draw a good croud for his fairwell tour. I know i'll try and see him in Jersey when i go this year.
(o.k. I still hate watching basketball, ON T.V. Going live and having 4th row courtside is another thing. The guys are bigger, the woman are sluttier, and i also want to see a game sober. See if it is actually interesting. I wanna see one Vince Carter old fashion Tommahawk dunk. Then It may have a chance to come crawling back into my sports life.)

All stars / ESPY's / Vermont
Good all star game
(here are my notes from watching the game.)
PRE-GAME HIGHLITES
Can not beleive they have Eric Byrnes in a kayak, with his dog! There was no way Bynnes last the whole game in the water. I do not care if he is a bay area kid.
Angles and LA players getting booed at the all star game. (Now i know why most people of SF like Barry Bonds.) Peavey and Lackey seame to be enjoying getting booded by SF fans. (I see the humor in it).
Willie getting a ride around the field. (should have been on a Lexus though)
(Joe Buck and Timmy are destroying this pre-game.)
I can not beleive the dog is still on the kayak.

Is Bynre's dog still in the kayak? I'm worried about him.
Dan Harren looks like a deer in the headlights. I think he just realized his wife is super hot.
Does FLOWMAX really have all thiose side effects? I think i would rather pee my pants.

I think Tim McCarver just turned into rainman. I have no idea what the hell he's saying.

Bonds warning tracks a ball. He made it look like he got a hold of one but you know it was not gone. He did the "Sammy Hop for steriods!"

Was it Griffey or A-rod? Was it a great throw by Griffey? or a bad hammy from A-rod that made that play at home?
Joe and Tim in the booth make comments about Bonds and Steroids. (SUPRISE!) Ken chimes in with the "we'll never know" and "smoke and mirrors lines". In other words Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.....

ICHIRO goes yard! With out leaving the yard. That boy can fly. The M;s should renew his contract and give him 100 million dollars. (wait, they already have.)
Someone catch the dog! Holy crap he's swimming away? How come Byrnes didn't jump in after him? Where's PETA when you need them. ( Note: I love Eric Byrnes and a broadcaster. If you ever watch him in the booth he does it the same way he plays baseball, out-of-controll. Last year durring the World series i thought his head was going to explode at one point. Either that or he was going to pull a Lindo Blair spin around.)

The park has WI-FI. Anyone know someone blogging right from the ball park? No? Me either.
D-Rays go yard. Good for Carl Crawford. Hay, at least he'll affect the world series somehow.
Exactly how many bats have shattered tonight? I know VLAD did on at least two of them.
FOX pulled out the whole Russell Martin / Turtle / Entourage thing. (saw that one coming a mile away)

Saw my 1st underdog commercial (was flipping channels). I'm pissed it's not a cartoon. (on that note i am really pissed The Transformers was not released in a cartoon form. Going to see it this weekend. I'll let you know if i change my mind.)

Homers, Homer, and Non sports issues
Where to start?
I'm at lunch so i only have an hour.
HR derby. Was soooo boring. I am glad Vlad won thought. He was the only one i watched who seemed to put everything into each swing. (Fielder was pathetic for a big man.) The suprise was Rois and Holliday. Really wanted to see Matt win though but pretty sure he toasted himself in the 2nd round. Can you immagine the ribbing he would give the league until next year? He was picked at 8am that morning ,had his brother pitch to him on national t.v., and hit like 8 streight in the 2nd round. If i had done that i would have walked out of the batting area holding my crotch yelling "Hey Ryan Howard and Prince Fielder! I got your home run freindly park right here !!!!". (Matt is listed at 6ft 3" 220lb / Fielder 6ft 0 and 295, Howard 6ft 4" 271). The worst part was having to listen to Joe Morgan and Dusty Baker call the derby. Here how the dialog went for those of you who mossed it. (jm = Joe Morgan. db = Dusty Baker)
Pick any of the players who were in the home run derby and you can fill in there name. I'm using Alex Rios' name because it's short and i hate long names.

CR - He knock the shit out of that one like my mama yous to know the shit out of me. The was a back hand to the forehead if i ever seen one. HE KNOCKED THE CRAP OUT OF THAT! KNOCKED THE CRAP OUT OF IT I TELL YA!

Antoine Walker (miami heat) was robber at gun point in his Chicago home. (that's a switch)
A.I. order to pay $260,000.00 in damages to a man his "friends" beat the crap out of.
Oden is done for the summer season after a tonsilloctimay (he got his tonsils removed).

Drunk driving charges dropped agenst Steve McNair (ravens). After all he was the passenger. (It's illegal in 30 states for both the driver and the passenger to be legally drunk in a car. Little known fact. CT is not one of the states.)
TDS (tour de steroids)
My dealer called. He making BOO COO cash!
Fabian Cancellara (team CSC) won the 3rd stage and is now 33 seconds ahead of Erik Zabel of Germany. America's only team has dropped out of the top 10 after pulling over on the 3rd turn to shoot up.
ALL STAR GAME
Tonight 8pm on fox. I'm tuning in for the commercials. (almost like the superbowl). I break the game down tomorrow after it over.
Prediction. AL over the NL by 3

Alot to go over in the racing world so lets get everything else out of the way 1st.
GOLF (yes Golf.)
KJ Choi wins Tigers tournment. (does anyone realize it was actually the AT&T tourney?) Solid putting and good greens play helped him win after Stuart Appleby played the last round like a soldier. (left, right, left, right) This is Choi's 2nd win in 6 weeks. (5 weeks ago he won the Arnold Palmer classic.) Woods finished a respectiable T6 after earlie troubles with the putter put him in a huge hole.

Weird sports of the weekend
#1 - Running of the wives (Finland) Who but the Fins could come up with this? Strap your wife on your shoulders and run her threw and obstical cource. (I watched some highlite on youtube and this is off-the-wall funny)
#2 - Running of the bulls (spain) Score is now Bulls 9 - people 0. 9 people wre injured during yesterdays run. Only 9? The Bulls need to pick-up the pace a little.

Summer league is in full swing (althought i do not give a crap) Durant and Oden are throwing up donuts.
MLB -
1st yalf is over. Ended on a great not with Curtis Grandersons fantastic spiderman-scale-the-wall-take-away-a-homer catch yesterday.
A-rob hit his 30th of the season and 494th of carear yesterday. (He passed Lou Gherig and Fred-"the crime dog"- Mcgriff also).
Here are my 1st half awards.
MVP - (this kills me) A-Rod.
Cy Young - Chris Young (padre's) He'd be 12 and 1 if he had gotten a little more offence.
Biggest suprise (everyone saw coming) Prince Fielder.
Biggest suprise (no-one saw coming) Magglio Ordonez
Suprise team (MY) Marniers. (Only 1 game back of the Angles now.)
Biggest DUD - The White Sox.
MOTOR SPORTS
Watkins Glenn. Scott Dixon may have won but all the talk was Kanaan and Hornish jr. after the race. Ya, they got into it a little but yah, rubbins racing! I love it when they finish the race and get out of the car and want ot fight someone, WITH THERE HELMET ON! That's like two goalie's fighting in hockey. Sure, there could be pleanty of action, but no blood, nothing gets broken. (except a fist if someone actually throw a punch.)

#1 - Congrats to Jamie McMurray. This should solidify his comeback driver of the year award (i do not care what happens in the 2nd half.) #2 - Congrats to Jeff Gordon. (Why? Though you would never ask...) A) for helping Jamie win. He did not have to push him past Kyle(his teammate) but he stayed in line and did what he was supposto to do. B) Telling the world (or at least everyone watching on tv) he was happy Jamie won. I have not read one word where JG said one thing positive or negitive about Kyle which means he C) kept his mouth shut like he was suppose to. (more on this below.)
#2 - Congrats to Carl Edwards. His push was the one who let Jamie win. He may still look like a dork, but i kinda like Carl now.
And finally,
I could not wait to go off on Kyle Busch.
O.k. I HATE KYLE BUSCH. I hate him in the same way some people hate Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon. If he was lying on the side of the road and bleeding from his eyes and all i had to do is say "hi" to him to save his life, I would cut out my tounge 1st, HATE HIM. I hate watching his interviews, get mad at the tv when i see him in a commercial, refuse to eat frosted flakes anymore, and NEVER, EVER, go to CarQuest, PERIOD.
NOW, that being said, one of the reason i despise/hate/loath him so much is he always comes off like the youngest child who did not get his way.

Look, Kyle asked out of his contract about 4 weeks ago before the hired JR. He's probley going to Penske Racing with his brother and Ryan (Newman). What did he expect. To get treated like gold and handles with kid gloves until he's out? F-that. This is racing. Teams race as individuals. I'm sure there is a limit as to how much Roush and Hendrick want there drivers to push this, but face the fact, Do what you have to do to win the race, period. Now he's pissed Jeff did not help him. Look i saw parts of the race and Jamie was clearly the supperior car. What was Jeff to do? Get behind the slower car? My judgement may be a little clouded because of the fact i do not like (hate) him, but he's wrong. If he was smart (and he's not. He's a moron who can not even get a HOT looking girlfriend) he would shut his trap and just get into the car and race with what he's given. Next year when he's racing for Penske or Ginn he can bitch all he wants. But for now, SHUT - THE - F&@$- UP. No one (especially me) wants to hear your winny little ass talking about, well, anything.

KJ Choi wins Tigers tournment. (does anyone realize it was actually the AT&T tourney?) Solid putting and good greens play helped him win after Stuart Appleby played the last round like a soldier. (left, right, left, right) This is Choi's 2nd win in 6 weeks. (5 weeks ago he won the Arnold Palmer classic.) Woods finished a respectiable T6 after earlie troubles with the putter put him in a huge hole.
