SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS.....
There is Sunday Night Baseball.
I love Sunday Night Baseball. Joe Morgan, Jon Miller from Washington park.
Must be springtime. So far i must say that the most enjoyable part of this game so far is listening to President Busch speak with Joe and Jon and not have a script in front of him. He is actually a pretty funny guy. Although i think Morgan was trying to score a few brownie point with the extended K-Zone.
Even the commercials are mostly baseball.
4th inning.
Good to see Nick Johnson back this year. He will now be forever in the record books with driving in the 1st ever run at Nationals Field. Although it was immediately shown up by Chipper Jones hitting a line drive out of the ball park.
The Braves look a little different this year. It was a shame to see Andrue Jones leave for the west coast but thing must change in baseball. But Paul LoDuca still has a job. (how the F did that happen. Wait, he had already signed the contract after the Mitchell report came out.)
It's kind of hard to remember that just a few years ago the National were the Expo's and playing ball over the border.
Jon Miller and Joe Morgan must be very good friends. They have been working together so long that it almost seams like there sitting in your living room and your having a conversation with them as your watching the game.
I did not get to see any of the red Sox / Dodgers game but from the highlights i was it was a pretty descent game. Sometime i think the folks on the west coast have a bit of an advantage. Say your a Yankee's or Red Sox fan living in Vegas or California or anywhere on the west coast. Sunday Night Baseball comes on at about 5:30 and you can see the whole game, get all the highlights and still mow the lawn before it gets dark during summertime. (Alright maybe not mow the lawn. Buy midsummer it all brown.)
6th inning already.
Good to see Peter Gammon's back again. Nice little piece on Chipper by Peter. Chipper is only 34? I thought he was my age (37) not that 3 years make a big difference in any normal persons life, but in baseball, that is a lifetime. (Or a great contract year.)

MENS FINAL FOUR...
UNC
MEMPHIS
KANSAS
UCLA
Well, who did not see that coming. Well all except for Davidson who tried there damdist to make it interesting, and the did for a lot longer than only one of us thought they would.

Late Season Hockey (minor league)
I took my brother and his kids to the Bridgeport Sound Tiger's VS. The Hartford Wolfpack. I wanted the to see a real hockey game and get them into it. We all had a good time. My only problem was every time i walk into that place i wind up dropping about $100 on food and a t-shirt. Mostly food. $4.50 for a pizza the size of a quarter, #3.00 for a "small" Sprite and $4.00 for a twist pretzel. Not to mention every time i want an Ice cream it's $5.00. (o.k. I just looked and i spent $79.00 at the game. The T-shirt was $19.00 you figure out the rest.) All i know is that i downed about 4000 calories this evening and right now i can not wait to work out tomorrow.

TOMORROW WORK OUT....
Should be all legs. I usually partially enjoy working legs. But like any man i enjoy working on the muscles from the waist up. It is the ego thing that gets to most men, me included. Ever see a huge guy at the gym with a huge pair of sweat pants on? Yup, skinny little legs. I'm not one to be like that. I will work my legs three time a week t=just to try and keep up with my upper body. I do not want to go the the beach or the pool in a pair of shorts and look like a weeble wobbly standing on his head.

It has been a long day with a lot of driving and a lot of watching the game. I am going to enjoy the last two inning of Jon and Joe and then hit the bed.

Have a good night.

Have a good night..............

Peace.
